Lincoln, Maine (LRG) LAOPA, Lincoln Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association in the past year has been told that they must pay a TTF fee to use the ajacent public use airport owned by the Town. LAOPA own it’s land and pays property taxes to the Town.
Each Hanger is also privately owned and the owner pays a building tax to the Town. Originaly, and some time ago, the “active” was owned by members of the LAOPA.
I’ve read that a TTF fee equal to a monthly tie down is fair. I can agree with that but I do not agree with through the fence aircraft owners paying hefty fees to use a “public use Airport.
