LAOPA own it's land and pays property taxes to the Town. Each Hanger is also privately owned and the owner pays a building tax to the Town. Originaly,and some time ago, the "active" was owned by members of the LAOPA. I've read that a TTF fee equal to a monthly tie down is fair. I can agree with that but I do not agree with through the fence aircraft owners paying hefty fees to use a "public use Airport.
