This 125 year old company has launched its DigiWx, an advanced weather system that delivers aviation quality, local weather data to a variety of receivers whether airborne or on the ground. The system combines the power of voice recognition and web technology to deliver weather data and trends.

Designed for VFR oriented airports seeking a cost effective solution to enhance flight safety and operational performance it can be acquired in stages, thus reducing the immediate up-front cost. The price for the system ranges between $10,000 and $18,000, based on options selected.

DigiWx Voice capability delivers fully automated current weather data over existing UNICOM transmitters – frequencies in response to a pilot initiated voice or sound transmission.

DigiWx Advisor is a Belfort proprietary software program that provides a PC-based graphical display of local weather data collected from the base DigiWx Weather Station. It can be viewed from a PC terminal at the airport or over the web for pre-flight planning purposes.

Enhanced Instrument Package provides aviation grade weather instruments that meet or e3xceed all AWOS standards of accuracy including dual barometric pressure transducers, wind speed, wind direction, ambient temperature, dew point, relative humidity, optional visibility sensor and 20 to 30 foot tower.
