After brief debate about the city’s possible exposure to future legal fees, the Loveland City Council approved an agreement designed to reshape the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport.

The agreement would provide Martin Lind’s proposed private Rocky Mountain Airport Investments LLC access to the airport runways with the hope that private development would help spark new development in and around the airport.Lind and his company would develop land to the north and the east of the airport property into an airpark, while the cities, which own and operate the airport, would allow those developments access to the airport property, taxiways and runways.
